Welcome to Auckland City
Auckland international airport – City connection
Taxis, skybus, supershuttle van and rental car are in front of the main exit of the airport. People drive on the left-hand side of the road, unless they are in a one-way street.
Taxi from the airport to the city costs between NZD100 to over NZD140, depending on the traffic and destination.
Travelling with supershuttle can reduce the cost significantly, if participants travel together with the same destination. From the Auckland International Airport to the University of Auckland (City Campus), e.g. at 20 Symonds Street, 1 person costs NZD41, 2 persons NZD51 and 3 people NZD61, 4 people NZD71, and 6 people NZD91. It is door to door service. The supershuttle waits in front of the exit door 8 from the arrival hall (see sketch below). A pre-booking is not required.
For return ride from hotel to the airport a pickup can be booked via https://www.supershuttle.co.nz/
